A shipment of 772 tons of food, water and medical kits, coordinated by the United Arab Emirates and the Red Crescent Society, is headed for Umm al Qasr. Two British ships have delivered a total of 1,100 tons of supplies to the port. The U.S. has sent more than 50,000 tons of wheat, and Australia is shipping 100,000 tons of wheat.
