Suit Planned Against Medical Pot Raids

A local medical-marijuana cooperative plans to sue the federal government; the city and county of Santa Cruz will join the suit.
The suit, which seeks an injunction prohibiting federal agents from raiding medical marijuana gardens, is to be filed today by the Women’s Alliance for Medical Marijuana and has been planned for months.
