Judge Refuses to Dismiss Belnick Case

A judge in Manhattan refused to throw out criminal charges against former Tyco International Ltd. General Counsel Mark Belnick, clearing the way for a trial as early as this year.
New York State Supreme Court Justice Michael Obus denied a request by Belnick, 56, to dismiss charges that the former executive falsified business records and took an illegal $12-million bonus.
