Oxnard Police Still Seek Kidnap Victim
Oxnard police continued to search Monday for the victim of a kidnapping, although they say they still are not sure of the man’s identity.
No one has filed a missing-person report for the man, even though he was grabbed off the sidewalk and shoved into a car Saturday morning by two armed men and two others outside his girlfriend’s home on Douglas Avenue, police said.
The search extended to a ranch near Santa Paula on Saturday night, but the victim was not found.
Officers are looking for a green Jeep Cherokee and a white compact car used in the abduction by three men and a woman, all in their 20s. No other descriptions were released.
Officials said gang and drug activities are among the possible motives.
