Tanker Truck Fumes Lead to Evacuations

Fumes from a tanker truck being cleaned at a plant prompted evacuations for about two hours, but no one was hurt.
Haz-mat crews checked out the truck at Quala Systems in the 8300 block of Wilcox Avenue and determined that the fumes were not toxic. Among the places evacuated was a nearby elementary school.
