Investigators Seek Clues to Identify Remains

Shasta County investigators searched for more evidence Tuesday, in the hope of finding clues to help them identify human remains discovered near an unearthed grave five miles from Interstate 5.
Detectives and search and rescue volunteers combed the area where the bones were found two weeks ago, said Shasta County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jim Mize.
