Ballistics Tests Link Several Shootings

Investigators linked a bullet fired at a Columbus house to 15 other shootings along a highway encircling the city.
No one was injured in the latest shooting. In November, a woman was shot to death in a car on Interstate 270 south of the city. No one else has been hurt in the string of shootings that began in May.
A bullet from the latest shooting was linked ballistically to other incidents, authorities said. Ballistics tests have linked seven shootings, but investigators believe all 16 are connected.
