Officials Say Fire Started With Christmas Tree

A house fire that killed three adults and four children started when candles ignited a Christmas tree, fire investigators said.
The fire in Canton, about 50 miles south of Cleveland, was accidental, and the tree had fallen over earlier in the night, fire inspector Jack Phifer said.
Inspectors said they think the occupants may have tried to put the fire out before calling for help, and added that survivors said some of the occupants had been drinking.
