* Taylor Wolff of Calabasas had double-double trouble Friday against Simi Valley. In a 49-24 loss, her streak of 19 consecutive double-doubles ended. Nursing a sprained ankle that kept her out of the previous game against Moorpark, Wolff, averaging 14.8 points and 11.5 rebounds, had only two points and four rebounds.
MILESTONES
* Joe Murillo won his 500th game at Chino, accomplished over 25 seasons, in a 68-23 victory over Glendora.
IN THE CLUTCH
* Sophomore Brittany Henderson’s three-point play on a layup as time expired gave L.A. Fairfax a 55-54 Western League victory over L.A. Westchester.
* Brynn Cameron of Newbury Park made a free throw with no time remaining to beat then-No. 23 Simi Valley Royal, 56-55.
* Adrianna Tovalin had two steals and two layups in the final minute to overcome a three-point deficit and give L.A. Fremont a 53-52 Coliseum League victory over L.A. Dorsey.
* Charlotte Causley made a game-winning layup with six seconds left to give Sun Valley Village Christian a 44-43 victory over L.A. Pacific Hills. It capped a comeback from a 41-33 deficit with 4:30 left to play.
* Tiffany Flukers scored 20 points, and her breakaway layup with 7.8 seconds left in overtime gave Alta Loma a 61-59 Baseline League victory over Rancho Cucamonga Los Osos.
LOOKING AHEAD
* Tonight’s matchups from the top 25: No. 16 Fullerton Rosary is at No. 13 Santa Margarita in a Serra League contest, and a big rivalry game takes place in the South Coast League, where Capistrano Valley plays at No. 9 San Clemente.
