Piatkowski May Start

Eric Piatkowski may move from a reserve role back to his customary spot as the Clippers’ starting shooting guard, mainly because he has accomplished so little as a backup to Corey Maggette.
Coach Alvin Gentry said the move was under consideration, starting with tonight’s game against the Phoenix Suns. Maggette has been tough to move from his starting spot, averaging 20.1 points and seven rebounds in January. Overall, he is averaging 16.2 points and 5.3 rebounds.
