Classical music station KMZT-FM (105.1) is teaming up with German broadcaster Deutsche Welle to produce two radio series for international distribution, one of them featuring Kent Nagano, principal conductor of the Los Angeles Opera.
The “Kent Nagano in Berlin” series will feature 13 of his concert performances with the German Symphony Orchestra, Berlin, where he also is principal conductor.
The other series, “Opus Ultimum,” will showcase the final musical works of 13 well-known composers, ranging from Heinrich Schuetz to Alban Berg.
The series are due to begin running this spring.
