A Palestinian State

“Bombing the Peace Process” (editorial, Jan. 8) states that Israel’s options in responding to the Tel Aviv bombings “were limited.”
This ignores the one option that Israel has yet to try and one that the entire world considers the surest way to peace: complete withdrawal from the West Bank and Gaza and the establishment of a Palestinian state.
Perhaps then, Palestinians, who continue to subsist under a relentless Israeli military occupation that has left scores of civilian dead during the past several weeks of “relative calm for Israelis,” will have more reason to hope and less reason to hate.
