Re “One More Loss,” Opinion, July 13: I haven’t flown since before 9/11. I’m not afraid to fly, and I’m all for security, but I just don’t trust the Transportation Security Administration’s policy of allowing its inspectors to open your locked/unlocked checked luggage outside of your presence.
TSA officials seem to have their heads stuck in the sand. Despite what they might claim, this policy is nothing more than a license for their poorly paid inspectors to steal.
