A Santa Rosa teenager arrested in Minnesota confessed to firing the shot that killed another youth at a city park, Rohnert Park police said.
Yai Phanchanh, 16, allegedly told Det. Bill Lawrence in Rochester that he shot Rouen Klaot, 18, on May 25.
Martin Kong, 20, and David Thach, 18, also were arrested in Minnesota.
“Everything fell together. We got everybody we were looking for,” Sgt. Art Sweeney said.
The three were awaiting extradition to Sonoma County, where they are to be booked for investigation of murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
