Re “Roundabout Has Come Full Circle, Backers Say,” June 10: Traffic circles are a bad idea that will not go away. After 40-plus years of driving in New Jersey, let me assure you, traffic circles are dangerous. England makes them sensible and useful by placing a yield sign at every entrance to a rotary. Without that sign it becomes a game of bump and run. The auto body shops will cheer the expansion of traffic circles, just as they applaud SUVs in parking lots.
