EUniverse Notified of Possible Delisting

L.A.-based Web site operator EUniverse Inc. said Friday that it has been notified that it may be delisted from the Nasdaq SmallCap Market.
The company said the Nasdaq staff was unable “to assess [EUniverse’s] current financial position and its ability to sustain compliance with Nasdaq’s continued listing requirements.” The company said it has requested a hearing on the delisting warning.
The company also said that six shareholder lawsuits have been filed against EUniverse.
Trading has been halted in EUniverse shares since May 6, when they closed at $3.62.
