Les Deux Cafes

One of the most surprising al fresco dining spaces is the garden at Les Deux Cafes. A door in the corner of a scruffy Hollywood parking lot is Les Deux’s entrance. Beyond is a lush walled garden planted with lavender, rosemary and sage, and scented with roses and jasmine. The downside is that chefs never seem to stay long, and service can be scattered and slow. But I’ll brave it all for the moonlit garden, a dream of Provence and boho chic half a block from Hollywood Boulevard.--S.I.V.
