Metrolink’s Riverside Line will be rerouted this morning while work crews continue the cleanup of tracks in Commerce where a Union Pacific freight train derailed Friday, officials said.
Metrolink will reroute the line -- which runs from Riverside to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles -- through the San Gabriel Valley. The line’s typical 1-hour, 25-minute duration will be increased to nearly two hours.
The Riverside Line will stop at the following stations this morning: Downtown Riverside, Pedley, East Ontario, Pomona, Industry and Union Station.
Metrolink officials said that riders who take the Riverside Line from the Montebello / Commerce station will be served by buses.
