Police Find Migrants Hidden in Big Rig

Mexican highway patrol officers in southernmost Chiapas state stopped a big rig hauling ceramic floor tiles and discovered 92 Central Americans who had hoped to illegally travel to the United States.
Inside the rig’s refrigerated trailer were 33 Guatemalans, 32 Salvadorans and 27 Hondurans, all of whom entered Mexico without travel documents, police said. Most will be deported.
The driver, who said he did not know the migrants were aboard, was detained.
