In defense of the maligned Valley

“Forecast: It’ll Be Hot in the Valley,” by Maria Elena Fernandez and Adam Bregman (Nov. 13), was very interesting. We have lived in the San Fernando Valley for many years, and it is a pleasant reminder of how many things combine to make it a special place. And now we have a nightlife!
I am e-mailing the article to family holdouts who remain back East. The photograph from Mulholland Drive was well chosen. Congratulations on a well-thought-out presentation!
