Slain Woman Is Identified

A woman who was stabbed to death in a rented home in Newbury Park has been identified as 22-year-old Lorena Angeles, and her husband is scheduled to be arraigned on murder charges early next week.
Domingo Angeles, 37, was arrested on suspicion of murder Wednesday after his wife was stabbed multiple times with a knife, according to Ventura County sheriff’s officials.
Detectives said the stabbing occurred after an argument between the couple.
Coroner’s officials released the victim’s identity Friday after notifying her family.
