Fix the lights

Re “Pedestrians Are Targets in Holdups Near UCLA,” Aug. 16
I have lived for over a year in Westwood where these robberies are taking place and have walked those streets at night. Many streetlamps on these avenues are not working. I believe the Department of Water and Power should have no higher priority but to fix these lamps before someone is injured or worse. This serious public safety issue should be addressed immediately.
