Grand Jury Application Deadline Is Jan. 13

Applications for service on Orange County’s grand jury will be accepted through Jan. 13, officials said Monday.
Convening July 3, the jury meets nearly every working day for 12 months to investigate county agencies, local governments and public officials.
Members are paid $50 per day for their service.
All applicants must attend a 6 p.m. orientation Jan. 26 at the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana, officials said.
Applications can be obtained at www.occourts.org, at the Jury Commissioner’s Office, Room A100, 700 Civic Center Drive West, Santa Ana, or by calling (714) 834-6747.
