Join the chorus, hallelujah

Here’s what you “Messiah” junkies have been waiting for all year long: Another chance to sing along in Handel’s great oratorio. The Los Angeles Master Chorale, which helped pioneer the sing-along concept, will be celebrating its 25th annual performance this year. Grant Gershon will conduct. The solo quartet will be drawn from the chorale. Get out your dog-eared scores and look on the chorale’s website, www.lamc.org, for advance practice sessions. Or study with friends. Or go cold turkey. Maybe this will be the year you get the pitches and all of the sixteenth-note runs finally right.
“Messiah Sing-Along,” Walt Disney Concert Hall, 111 S. Grand Ave., L.A. 7:30 p.m. Monday. $10 to $59. (800) 787-5262. www.lamc.org.
