Re “Elegy for a black antihero,” Opinion, Dec. 14

The comic legacies of Lenny Bruce, Jonathan Winters, Richard Pryor and other comedians are part of the history of the arts that should be archived and even displayed again to new audiences. These talents, like recording artists, still have value and should not be forgotten as they get older or pass away.
