Three men were fatally shot this weekend, bringing the number of killings in the city this year to 88, equaling the number of homicides in the city for all of 2004, police said.
The victims, identified as Charles “Bu” Dixon, 27, Jason Graham, 39, and Sean Scott, 23, of Oakland, were killed in one incident Saturday night.
Dixon and Graham were trying to jump-start a car as Scott waited inside the vehicle, police said. Police said a gunman walked up and fired at the car.
Police said they had no motive for the slayings.
