Cucina Paradiso
In a neighborhood desperately in need of a few good restaurants, this 7-month-old eatery hit the spot. Supple pumpkin and ricotta ravioli as well as satisfying chicken ravioli in pretty pink tomato-cream sauce are among the choices. There is also a frequent special of lobster agnolotti (half moon pasta) finished with an aromatic lobster reduction touched with brandy.

Divino
The handmade tortellini filled with mild ricotta cheese and earthy Swiss chard is topped with a glorious fresh zucchini sauce. Cicada
This Downtown looker -- a former men’s haberdashery with a staircase right out of Sunset Boulevard -- recently stopped serving lunch. But you can still enjoy dinner: maybe duck ravioli with shiitake mushrooms and sweet peas, or smoked chicken tortellini with radicchio and spinach in a tomato cream sauce.

Ti Amo Ristorante
Located in a 1920s residence, this special occasion Italian is modeled after a Tuscan villa. Think lavish frescoes and dramatic candlelight. Among the pasta choices is a decadent dish of cheese and spinach tortellini with prosciutto and peas in a cream sauce. There is also homemade ravioli filled with tender short rib meat.

Massimo
Massimo and Daniela Ormani’s Rodeo Drive-adjacent charmer is now going on four years, and Massino turns out delicious pastas. Among the most popular is delicate butternut squash ravioli finished with a butter sage sauce and a scattering of poppy seeds. There’s also an occasional special of lobster ravioli.
