Motorcyclist Killed Was Cerritos Man, 28

A motorcyclist killed after hitting a parked car on Via Gorrion was identified Thursday as Vincent Dominic Ramirez, 28, of Cerritos.
Ramirez was declared dead at the scene Wednesday evening.
He was speeding east on Via Gorrion about 8:30 p.m. when he lost control of his motorcycle, skidded about 100 feet and slammed into the car, officials said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
