Update -- After a 12-game stretch in which Lackey went 5-1 with a 2.56 ERA, lowering his season ERA from 8.22 to 3.50, the right-hander has struggled in his last two starts, giving up six runs and eight hits in 5 2/3 innings of a no-decision against Texas and five runs and eight hits in 5 2/3 innings of a loss to Minnesota. The Angels had five runs and five hits, including two-run homers by Steve Finley and Garret Anderson, off Franklin in a 5-0 win over the Mariners on May 2.
