Low-priced airfares to Europe are difficult to find during the summer, but travelers who plan far enough ahead can take advantage of fall and winter deals.

Here’s a sampling of round-trip fares on scheduled airlines from LAX: $367 to London, $432 to Paris, $461 to Rome, $451 to Frankfurt, Germany, $478 to Madrid and $448 to Amsterdam.

All must be booked by July 22 and are valid for travel Nov. 1 to Dec. 10 and Jan. 10 through March 15. The price does not include air taxes, security fees and fuel surcharges, which add about $190 to $220 per person.
