Murder Suspect’s Father Is Charged

John Michael Hollywood, the father of kidnapping-murder defendant Jesse James Hollywood, was charged Wednesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court with being a fugitive from justice in an Arizona drug case.
The filing means that the 50-year-old Sherman Oaks resident will be extradited to Pima County, where he faces felony charges, the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said.
His son, who became a fugitive after being accused of masterminding the killing of a 15-year-old boy to avenge a drug debt, was arrested in Brazil last week and is in Santa Barbara County Jail on charges of kidnapping, conspiracy and murder.
