Joe Eisaman, 81; Co-Founder of L.A. Advertising Firm

Joe Eisaman, 81, who co-founded Eisaman, Johns & Laws, an independent advertising firm in Los Angeles, died of lung cancer at his Beverly Hills home Sunday, said his wife, Karren.
Eisaman, who served in the Navy during World War II and graduated from Dartmouth College in 1947, started the agency in Los Angeles with his boyhood friend, Jess Johns. Bob Laws joined the agency later. Among their accounts were Pennzoil Motor Oil, Kahlua, Neutrogena and Pendleton.
The agency was sold in 1999 to George Lois and became Lois/EJL.
