No cost for Yale music school

Yale University’s School of Music is doing away with tuition after receiving a $100-million donation. Acting Dean Thomas C. Duffy said Wednesday the university would stop charging students next year. Duffy said the donors wanted to remain anonymous.
Tuition this year at the Yale School of Music is $23,750.

New channel: NBC Universal will launch a cable channel Jan. 1 called Sleuth to showcase the crime, mystery and suspense films and TV shows in its vaults, such as “Knight Rider,” “Miami Vice” and “The A-Team.”
