Update -- Duck left wing Dustin Penner, in his first NHL game Wednesday night after being recalled from the minors with forward Joffrey Lupul out because of a stiff neck, had a team-high five shots on goal in just over 15 minutes in the 3-2 loss. Detroit beat Colorado, 7-3, on Wednesday, one game after defenseman Jiri Fischer collapsed on the bench Monday against Nashville. Fischer, whose heart stopped before a defibrillator was used to shock it back into rhythm, will refrain from physical activity for at least four weeks.
