Man Killed Crossing PCH Near Bolsa Chica

A pedestrian was killed late Wednesday when he was hit by a car while crossing a street, police said.
The man, who has not been identified, was crossing Pacific Coast Highway near Bolsa Chica State Beach when he was struck by a Ford Taurus at about 11:15 p.m., said Huntington Beach Police Sgt. Craig Bryant.
The man, believed to be 18 to 25 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, Bruce Kelben, 46, of Costa Mesa, was not cited. He was treated at the scene for minor cuts to his hands and face from broken glass, Bryant said.
