Northern Ireland unrest

Re Northern Ireland riots, Sept. 13-14: I am the grandson of a Protestant minister from Northern Ireland who was immensely proud of his Orange heritage. I am certain, however, that he would heartily agree with my feelings of intense disdain for the childish, pseudo-macho, thumb-in-the-eye attitude of the Protestant extremists in Northern Ireland who continue to flaunt their centuries-old victory over Catholics by marching through or near Catholic neighborhoods. To them, I have only this to say: Get a life -- preferably in the present century.
