Two protesters against the war in Iraq were arrested Monday for allegedly blocking the doors of downtown Navy and Army recruiting offices. Hal Brody, 61, and Gary Stewart, 55, were among a dozen protesters who had gathered as part of a national protest.
The group held a sign reading “No One Signs Up to Kill or Die Today” that momentarily blocked the doors.
On Saturday an estimated 2000 protesters gathered in Balboa Park for a similar protest.
