Re “Hospital Firm’s Bills Rile County,” Sept. 24
After reading the article on the problems of King/Drew Medical Center and Navigant, the company hired to oversee the restructuring of it, I was appalled. The fraud, incompetence, lack of record keeping and inexplicably wasteful spending of our tax money, especially on travel, is unbelievable.
Buried in the article was this: “The county officials are now debating whether to extend it [the contract] to Navigant in some form.” Are they crazy to even consider it?
