TV’s Craig Ferguson Has Them Up Late and Laughing
- Share via
Thanks for your article on Craig Ferguson (“The Late, Late Comer,” by Marc D. Allan, Dec. 18). If I stay awake long enough, I may watch a bit of Jay Leno, maybe a hint of David Letterman, most of the time Jimmy Kimmel, a wee bit of Conan O’Brien--but Ferguson’s monologue for sure. He is just so refreshing! He seems honest and quite unpretentious. He teases gently, which is part of the fun as he tells his elaborate stories of situations that bring us some true laughs.

It’s nice to see in print what I have been thinking for months: Ferguson’s monologues are terrific.
