Al Qaeda Deputy Calls Zarqawi a Martyr

Al Qaeda’s No. 2 leader paid tribute to the slain Al Qaeda in Iraq leader Abu Musab Zarqawi in a video broadcast on TV, extolling him as “the prince of martyrs.” The footage was the first acknowledgment by Al Qaeda’s central leadership of Zarqawi’s death June 7 in a U.S. airstrike northeast of Baghdad.
