Security Forces Kill 7th Resort Bombing Suspect

The leader of a group wanted in the April bombings of a Red Sea resort was killed in a gun battle in the mountains of the Sinai peninsula, officials said.
Nasser Khamis Mallahi was the seventh suspected extremist killed by Egyptian security forces since a massive sweep was launched in the Sinai after three bombings in Dahab killed 21 people April 24.
Officials said Mallahi, described as the leader of the group Monotheism and Jihad, was killed south of Arish.
