Man Found Unconscious on Trail Still in a Coma

A man found naked and unconscious on a bike trail over the weekend remained in a coma Wednesday.
Wade Ryan Garrison, 24, of Fullerton was at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport Beach in good condition though still unconscious, police said. “Right now, we don’t know what exactly happened to him,” said Sgt. Bill Hartford, a spokesman for Newport Beach police. “We don’t believe there was any type of criminal nexus in his disappearance or discovery.”
Garrison was found Sunday by a bicyclist on the path next to the San Joaquin Hills toll road.
