Harvey to return to L.A. radio

Comedian Steve Harvey, who hosted a popular Southland morning radio program from 2000 to 2005, is returning to the local airwaves on a different station.
“The Steve Harvey Morning Show” will premiere May 30 on KDAY-FM/KDAI-FM, which said it recently completed upgrades that will make its signal accessible throughout the Los Angeles-Orange County market on the 93.5 dial frequency. The show will air weekdays from 5 to 10 a.m.
Harvey, previously heard on KKBT-FM (100.3), was at one time the top-rated English-language morning host in the market, though he had fallen to eighth by the time he left. He launched a nationally syndicated morning show with Premiere Radio Networks last October, which is the program that will air on KDAY/KDAI.
