Authorities Wednesday identified the off-duty California Highway Patrol officer killed in the crash of a Ferrari this week as Derek Midollo, 39, an officer from the Woodland Hills station.
Also killed was David Bjorklund of Chicago, whose age was estimated between 30 and 35.
Midollo was the owner and driver of the gray 1993 Ferrari Testarossa that flipped over and crashed Tuesday afternoon on a downhill curve on Cornell Road, CHP officials said.
