Man Admits to Sexual Assault, Authorities Say

A 22-year-old Palm Springs man confessed to sexually assaulting a female UC Riverside student, authorities said Tuesday.
Campus police arrested Justin Lowe after he returned to his car, which was parked illegally at the university Monday.
Officers noticed his resemblance to a composite sketch of the assault suspect, according to school spokeswoman Celeste Durant. Shortly after his arrest, Lowe admitted assaulting the student Oct. 3, authorities said. Police are investigating whether he was involved in three sexual assaults reported in August and September.
