Plagued by battery recall problems, Sony Corp. said it might lower its fiscal year earnings forecast as it announced yet another recall.
Sony previously said it expected profit of 130 billion yen ($1.1 billion) for the fiscal year ending in March 2007, up 5% from fiscal 2005.
In the latest blow, Sony said it planned to recall about 90,000 batteries used in some of its Vaio notebook computers sold in Japan and China.
