Man, 68, dies in fight with 27-year-old

A 68-year-old Riverside County man died Sunday of injuries suffered in a fight with a much younger man, authorities said.
Riverside County sheriff’s deputies were called to the home of Gordon Nye Frank Jr., in Twin Pines, near Idyllwild, after his wife reported that he was in a fight with 27-year-old Ty Reddish. The reason for the fight was not immediately known.
Frank was unconscious when deputies found him shortly before 10:30 a.m., and he died at his home despite medical aid from firefighters, said Deputy Javier Rodriguez. The county coroner’s office had not released the cause of death as of Sunday night.
Reddish was arrested on suspicion of murder, based on information at the scene, sheriff’s officials said. The case will be forwarded to the Riverside County district attorney’s office.
