Bomb derails train; 27 are injured

A bomb derailed several cars on a Russian passenger train from Moscow to St. Petersburg, injuring at least 27 people, officials said.
The train’s driver heard a loud bang under the locomotive before it derailed near Novgorod, Alexander Pirkov, an advisor to Russian Railways’ top executive, said in televised comments.
The train was carrying 215 passengers and 20 crew members.
