Lessons about life in the fab lane
The Choire Sicha interview of Kimora Lee Simmons, “Fab Follows Function” (Aug. 12), [offers] proof [for] three facts of life:
1. Letting some people indict themselves for ignorance is often better than interpretation.
2. American youth increasingly believes that success by any kind of public attention-getting showmanship is faster, easier and far more lucrative than going to school.
3. American free-enterprise, capitalist democracy and the right to make as much money as you can and spend it any way you choose has nothing to do with [the] best interests for posterity or [humanity].
