Man killed at party; gang members suspected

A man was shot and killed at his home Friday night shortly after refusing to allow several gang members inside during a party, authorities said.
The victim, whose name was not released, was struck in the chest about 10:40 p.m. in the 18100 block of Northam Street, an unincorporated area near the city of Industry. Also wounded in the attack was a girl who was asleep in a nearby home.
The spokesman said the suspects in the incident sprayed the neighborhood with gunfire from a sport utility vehicle.
